Tesco slashes price of chocolate including Quality Street and Heroes but you have to act fast

With Christmas quickly approaching people across the country will be stocking cupboards up with sweet treats for the festive period. Boxes of chocolates are always a popular option whether you're buying them as a gift for someone or just wanting a tasty treat while watching Christmas movies.

Tesco are selling boxes of Quality Street, Roses, Celebrations and Heroes for nearly half price with a Tesco Clubcard. But you will have to act fast to make the most of the deal as it is only for a limited time. The offer began yesterday, November 27 and will continue until next Tuesday, December 3. Other supermarkets have also been slashing prices of chocolate as we reach December.

Sainsbury's has dropped the price of Quality Street to £3.95 for a 600g tub, down from its original £6 price tag. Although, you will need a Nectar card to take advantage of this offer and the discount is also only available until Monday, December 2.

Tesco shoppers have been issued a warning this week. Tesco Clubcard holders are being urged to check if they have any vouchers that are close to expiring. The vouchers are only valid for two years from the date they were issued and millions of pounds worth are set to run out on Saturday, November 30.

Advice issued on MoneySavingExpert.com lets customers know what to do if they don't want to use their Clubcard vouchers yet. If your Clubcard vouchers are due to expire and you don't want to use them yet, you may be able to extend the expiry date by another two years. the money saving website say they have a 'trick' to extend the validity of vouchers.

It is important be aware you'll need to extend your vouchers by 11.59pm on Saturday 30 November. You can make a small purchase on the Tesco Clubcard Rewards page or donate to one of its partner charities. The remaining balance is credited back to your Clubcard account as points which you can then use within the next two years.
