Tesco stores ransacked for medicine and beauty products in and around Stroud as CCTV is issued

Thousands of pounds' worth of medical and cosmetic products have been stolen from Tesco supermarkets in and around Stroud. Police officers investigating a series of thefts at Tesco stores in the town have issued CCTV footage of two men they want to identify.

The thefts were reported at Tesco Express in Five Valleys Shopping Centre, Tesco in Long Street, Wootton-under-Edge, and Tesco Express on Stratford Road, Stroud. between 6pm and 8pm on Tuesday, November 12.

Gloucestershire Police said officers received reports of shoplifting from the three branches, with thousands of pounds' worth of medicine and cosmetics stolen. Officers have conducted a number of enquiries since the incident and are trying to identify the man pictured in CCTV video.

Anyone who recognises the men in the images, or who has other information, is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police by completing the online form and quoting incident 435 of 12 November.
