Rumours continue to emerge about players Liverpool could potentially sign during the summer transfer window.

The Reds have been linked with several potential new signings ahead of Arne Slot's first season as head coach. The Jurgen Klopp era has officially come to an end and now work will be underway for the new Premier League season that gets underway in August.

Between now and then, Liverpool are likely to be linked with a new of players who could be added to the squad at Anfield. However, some of the rumours may prove to be mere speculation, while others could also have some basis of truth.

According to Italian news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool continue to have an interest in signing Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners. The report says that the Reds, along with Juventus, "like" Koopmeiners and could still make a move to sign the midfielder this summer.

Koopmeiners is set to star for the Netherlands at Euro 2024 this summer, and it's likely any potential transfer would only happen once the country's involvement in the tournament comes to an end. The report states that Liverpool would need to offer €60 million (£51 million) in order to convince Atalanta to let the midfielder leave the club this summer.

Elsewhere, Liverpool remain in the running to sign Sporting Lisbon defender Goncalo Inacio. Reports in recent months have credited the Reds with an interest in the centre-back.

According to Portuguese news outlet A Bola, Liverpool are battling with Manchester United for Inacio's signature. However, it has been stated that Sporting would not be willing to let Inacio leave the club for anything less than the €60 million (£51 million) fee in his release clause.

The report goes on to say that Liverpool could have the advantage over Man United in the race to sign Inacio due to the uncertainty around the future of Erik ten Hag as manager at Old Trafford.
