Texarkana police investigating after vehicle went airborne before landing at furniture store

TEXARKANA, Texas (KETK) – The Texarkana Police Department said they are investigating a single vehicle crash after the car went airborne and crashed in front of a store on Tuesday.

According to the Texarkana PD, a vehicle was driving along the Pavilion Parkway overpass when it hit a curb, went airborne and jumped a culvert before coming to a stop in the parking lot of Ivan Smith Furniture.

Texarkana PD said that they believe “the 73 year old driver had some type of medical issue” during the time of the incident. Officials said that the driver has been transported to a hospital.
