Texas officials cite domestic situation in church shooting: 'There were threatening texts'

Officials release more information about the 26-year-old gunman in the Texas church shooting. Devin Patrick Kelley shot and killed 26 people and injured 20 others when he opened fire at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, on Sunday. Officials say the motive is still unclear, but added that there was domestic strife between Kelley and wife and in-laws. They noted that Kelley had exchanged threatening texts with his mother-in-law

Kelley’s wife and mother-in-law occasionally attend this church, but were not there Sunday.
