Commuters are facing travel chaos this morning after five London Underground lines were hit by delays.

The Circle, District, Piccadilly, Victoria and Hammersmith & City lines were affected by severe and minor delays and part suspensions.

There were severe delays on the Circle line from about 6.30am while TfL fixed a faulty train at Paddington.

Services running clockwise were halted before severe delays were reported across the entire line.

The Hammersmith & City line was hit with minor delays due to the faulty train.

District line commuters were facing severe delays before it eased to minor disruption and a part suspension.

The Victoria line was hit with severe delays and a part suspension while a faulty train was fixed at Seven Sisters.

TfL earlier warned of severe delays between Ealing Broadway and Turnham Green due to an earlier signal failure in Ealing Common.

Commuters on the Piccadilly line were also facing severe delays due to the earlier signal failure.
