Commuters faced rush hour chaos this morning as disruption hits four London Underground lines as well as part of the Overground.

The entire Circle line was hit by severe delays due to a faulty train at Edgware Road.

The backlog from the faulty train also hit the District line, which was part suspended between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road. Severe delays were later reported between the two stations.

There were also severe delays on the Hammersmith and City line due to the same issue.

The Jubilee line continued to face minor delays while engineers try to fix a fault on some of its trains.

The London Overground was part suspended between Sydenham and West Croydon, while emergency services deal with a casualty on the track.

A good service was reported on the rest of the Overground network.

TfL said tickets would be accepted on the London Underground and London buses.
