Officers in Bangkok, Thailand, were negotiating with a suspected shooter in the Sai Mai district of the city, the investigative police (IDMB) said on Tuesday, March 14.

Local media reported that police were alerted to a man firing shots in the Sai Mai district at 11 am local time. The man was reported to be a police inspector.

The IDMB said at 12 pm that officers had located the suspect. Negotiations between officers and the suspect were ongoing at 3:25 pm.
