'That's interesting' - Jürgen Klopp left stunned by Man Utd reaction after Liverpool draw
Jürgen Klopp was left baffled when told that Manchester United was disappointed with its draw against Liverpool. Despite needing a last-minute penalty, which was converted by Mohamed Salah after a foul on Harvey Elliott, to equalize, the Reds will still feel they should have taken all three points away from Old Trafford.
Liverpool found itself playing catch up after Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo put United ahead in the second half, despite the Reds dominating the match, firing off 15 shots in the first half without any serious challenge from the United defense.
During the second half, United finally started to make an impact, but despite this Liverpool still managed to fire off 28 shots and held 63 per cent of possession. While United have now given up late leads in their three previous matches, given Liverpool's dominant display, they're likely to feel even worse.

In a post-match interview, Klopp sounded bemused when told both teams were disappointed with the result. The reporter asked: "Jürgen I sense a feeling of disappointment, actually in both camps, but more from your side, how is the assessment of the game?"
Klopp looked shocked at the idea that both teams were disappointed and seemed distracted by it as he answered. "United is disappointed? That's interesting. Good," the perplexed boss said.
Erik ten Hag lamented the 'stupid' mistakes his side made to once again leave points on the table. Though ultimately, he was also proud of his side's efforts.
"On one side I am disappointed that we have dropped seven points in one week after being in winning positions, but we have to blame ourselves for making stupid mistakes. There are also some poor decisions and not every time the same player. Still we have to improve and the sooner the better.
"On the other side I am very proud. You see how we are improving and the potential of this squad is amazing — I am proud.
"In decisive areas we were losing battles especially with young players we were not confident to win them [duels]. We encouraged in the second half to do better and they stepped up."
Liverpool.com says: Klopp's not the only one baffled by the United reaction. Ten Hag's side has been incredibly fortunate that sides haven't made more of their chances against them this season, otherwise his team would be much worse off than it is.
Liverpool absolutely should have made United pay, and it's not the only side to have been guilty of spurning a hatful of chances. Quite how Ten Hag can claim to be proud of his side's efforts at the moment is staggering.
