The Apprentice's Dillon St Paul in brain tumour agony

The Apprentice star Dillon St. Paul has bravely opened up about his brain tumour agony after being rushed to hospital with a mass on his brain just two weeks ago.

Dillon appeared on the BBC show last year and took to his popular blog to recount his horrific medical ordeal after he suffered a seizure at work.

Doctors soon found that he had a glioma tumour in his brain and he had to have the tumour cut out immediately – thankfully, it was not cancerous.

Writing on his blog, Dillon admitted that he once though that being an Apprentice candidate was the hardest thing that’ll he ever experience, quipping: “But the hardest thing was obviously surviving the brain surgery – a journey of pain and sorrow unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.”

He added: “[I was] prodded, poked and injected until reduced to tears. During that first night I genuinely felt like I was dying. This is too personal to go into now, but I cried a lot and pined for friends and family.

“I really pined for my friend Jessica from The Apprentice but she was in the CBB house in the UK at the time and I couldn’t reach her properly. Life’s a b***h.

“I thought The Apprentice was the hardest thing I’d ever done and now that seems ridiculous – it was just a TV show with some really mean people in a boardroom.

“Now I know life is too short, so be nice!”

Dillon also revealed that his brain had “changed” as a result of the surgery, and strangely he can no longer stand the taste of coffee and has developed an intense sense of smell.

The TV star has been inundated with support from fans and fellow survivors after he bared all in his blog, with many thanking Dillon for using his platform to raise awareness on non-cancerous brain tumours.
