The photo was also the first look fans have had as Morgan on the show as he has joined for season 4.

The Boys has received consistently high reviews since it premiered in 2019 with critics highlighting the show's satirical approach to superhero lore, its dark humour and action sequences.

A spino-off the show called Gen V is expected to premiere on Prime Video later this year and will follow young superheroes as they are tested in battle royale challenges at university.

The series is based on a comic book of the same name from Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson which finished publishing in 2012.
