Brit-pop bad boys Oasis have a grand total of six Brit awards, earning their first in 1995 with British Breakthrough Act. They went on to further acclaim during 1996 when they won three prizes, Best Group, Album and Video. After becoming hugely influential, they won the Outstanding Contribution in 2007 but Liam Gallagher went on to make a very memorable display in 2010 when he collected the award for Best British Album for (What's the Story?) The Brits: The most-awarded acts of all time

Being the recipient of a Brit Award is certainly something to add to your CV, but some stars must barely have room to list them all.

Over the years, certain music icons have been triumphant time and time again at the music awards as they’ve stood the test of time and proved they are far from a one-hit wonder.

But it isn’t just their musical talent they’ll be remembered for either, as four of the most celebrated acts have also been involved in some of the most controversial moments from the ceremony too.
