An adopted Staffordshire Bull Terrier is so spoilt that she spends her life being driven around in expensive prams while wearing a crown.

In fact Princess Cleopatra Superchill – Cleo for short – has had a staggering £18,000 spent on her over the past three years.

Her adoring owner, Anthony Welsh, 55, a personal trainer from Liverpool, rescued Cleo when she was 18 months old and describes her as “more like a daughter” than a pet.

And a very expensive daughter, at that – Cleo is pushed around in a £1,500 pram that also converts into a THRONE.

She also owns a convertible children’s toy sports car and will receive an all-terrain 4×4 and a GoPro camera for Christmas.

Anthony, who is single and doesn’t have children, said: “Cleo is such a special dog, she is so unique – everything about her is perfect.

“There is no doubt about it, she is my daughter. She is the perfect daughter really.”

Anthony said he wanted to treat Cleo, who even has her own PA for TBV and movie appearances, to a luxurious life after he realised she was suffering from depression when he adopted her.

He explained: “When I first got Cleo she just stared at the floor.

“But I was told by a vet if I gave her lots of treats and really spoiled her I could bring her round. I managed to do it in about seven months.

“As I put so much into her I realised she could do so many special tricks and she looked so fit and healthy so I thought I would dress her up in little outfits.”

“Now I can see in her eyes she is so happy. She is loving life.”

He said the stream of gifts left her with her head held high. ‘Now I can see in her eyes she is so happy,’ he says. ‘She is loving life.’
