Yahoo News The French Are Flipping Out Over English Crepe ‘Massacre’
Earlier this week a reddit user posted this picture featuring a pile of crepes carefully made by a French colleague which had been savagely destroyed.

The caption says it all: “A French colleague made crepes today. English people are barbarians.”
The perpetrator is still at large but the evidence would suggest they were either drunk or simply didn’t give a crepe. Instead of lifting one thin pancake from the top they hacked right in to the stack as if it were a cake.
The picture has invoked an impassioned backlash from the French; Liberation Newspaper called it a “massacre” and a ‘declaration of war.’
Appalled French nationals took to social media to share their disgust: “The village idiot,” declared one. “Cries in French,” wept another.
Some folk were able to see the funny side: “From a distance could be a Victoria sponge,” confessed one redditor. One Imgur user said: “This makes me oddly proud to be British.”
However, it’s not certain the culprit is English. In an update to their original reddit post, the user explained: “One day later the mystery has not been solved yet, nobody is owning up to savaging the crepes! However it may have not been an English person, we have two Irish, one Russian and one Mexican working here. It could have been anyone… The investigation continues.”
