Things have been heating up in the Great British Bake Off tent, where two of its stars have apparently been cooking up a romance.
Henry Bird, 20, and Alice Fevronia, 28, are thought to be the first rival bakers to find the recipe for love in the tent and are said to be in the early days of dating each other.
Keen bakers Bird and Fevronia have shared loved-up snaps of themselves on social media, including one where they’re watching spin-off show The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice with fellow contestant Michael Chakraverty.
Most of the posts have now been removed, but Bird still kept a supportive message about Fevronia winning Star Baker, and she also kept up a few photos of the same day out.
Geography teacher Fevronia and student Bird are also pictured together on London’s South Bank enjoying a day out in the sun.
In a recent post, Bird shared a photo of some Turkish bread he had made which Fevronia commented on with: “These had better bloody be waiting for me when I get there tonight.”
And it seems their other series co-stars couldn’t be happier for them, with a series of supportive messages underneath the photos.
Chakraverty commented: “Such a beautiful couple.”
Helena Garcia, famed for her Halloween-themed bakes, added: “You two couldn’t possibly be more adorable.”
Week one’s eliminee Dan Chambers wrote: “You guys!!!” followed by a line of heart emojis.
Bird’s ambitious flavour combinations and Fevronia’s perfectly intricate decorations have impressed judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, although both bakers have been in trouble in recent weeks as they struggled with some of the trickier challenges.
So far, both are still in the pre-recorded series, which saw trucker Phil Thorne sent home in last week’s dairy-themed episode - despite some disastrous bakes from Bird.
