The Jump: Joe Swash Is Eliminated After Shoulder Injury

Joe Swash has become the latest casualty to emerge from The Jump in more ways than one, as not only has he been eliminated, but he’s also picked up a nasty shoulder injury along the way too.

The actor was unable to take part in last night’s scary moguls challenge after chipping a bone in his shoulder.

The challenge saw celebrities weaving their way through some moguls (or snowy bumps, the more technical term of course. Ahem) on skis and trying to stay on their feet in the process.

It sounds easier than it looks, that’s for sure.

With Joe ruled out due to injury, he instead had to rely on the air jump to get him through to the semi-finals.

Sadly, his 8.31m jump wasn’t quite enough to beat Sarah Harding’s 8.59m jump though, and Joe was sent home.

Speaking about his short time on the show, having been brought to replace other injured celebrities, Joe told host Davina McCall: “I think it’s fitting that Sarah went through because I didn’t get too do the Moguls. I was always playing catch up.”

Davina also took a minute to embarrass Joe and girlfriend Stacey Solomon, who was there to support him after competing on the show herself last year.

Trying to get Joe to give Stacey a hug, Davina said: “Guess what everyone - Stacey and Joe are K.I.S.S.I.N.G. They are.”

Dropping the L-word, Davina then joked: “Don’t use the L word, it’s too early in the relationship!”

N’aww.
