The Voice: Man bursts onto the stage as Sir Tom Jones swears on live TV in chaotic finale
Mo Adeniran was named the winner of ‘The Voice’ last night but his victory was overshadowed by dramas elsewhere throughout the finale.
First, Sir Tom Jones swore on live television when Emma Willis announced his act Into The Ark made it into the final and Emma was forced to apologise for the music legend’s slip-up, but there was more chaos to come.
Later, an intruder stormed the set and the figure of a balding man dressed in a black suit flashed across the screen as two more burly bouncers ran after him. The whole thing resembled a comedy skit.
Emma was consoling loser Jamie Miller when the stage invader shot past and crashed into a crew member… lol.
Speaking after his big win, Jennifer Hudson’s act told News Entertainment: “I’ll celebrate with a Maccy D’s. I’ll be happy to chill out, and I’m proud of this whole process, it’s been a lot of fun. It’s just a cherry on the cake (to win).”
Meanwhile, fellow coaches Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson have admitted that their negotiations to return for the next series of ‘The Voice’ have already begun however, Gavin Rossdale has revealed the show’s producers are yet to approach him about extending his contrac.
Eek.
Gavin told the Daily Star newspaper that he was yet to discuss another series with producers, explaining: “I think they’re waiting until the end of the series. They’re waiting for us to clear every hurdle.”
