Olly Murs broke down and cried on The Voice over his long-standing rift with his twin brother.

The star, a coach on the show, fell out with his brother Ben when he was a contestant on The X Factor in 2009.

Ben’s wedding clashed with the show, so Olly didn’t see him tie the knot and it’s thought the siblings have not talked in years.

According to The Sun, the singer became tearful when twins auditioned on the episode of The Voice that is due to air on Saturday.

He tells his fellow coaches of his brother: “We had a big argument.”

Olly - who came second to Joe McElderry on The X Factor - explains the source of his feud with Ben and opens up about his fear that the next time they see each other will be at a funeral.

“I feel like the next time I’m going to see him is when we lose somebody close in our family, and I don’t want that to be the case,” he says.

“I’ve got no idea where he lives.”

He also said the whole thing was a shame for his mum.

Olly has previously said he thinks he and Ben will bury the hatchet and reconcile at some point in their lives.

In 2017, he told The Sun’s Bizarre Life podcast: “I think there's still a love there between all of us, it's just about finding a resolution and finding that moment in time where you can make it all come together and be fine."

Ben changed his surname to Hart in the wake of their row.
