The Wanted's Tom Parker marks a year since first seizure with moving Instagram post

Tom Parker shared a sweet photo of him and his wife to mark a year since he had his first seizure, which led to his brain tumour diagnosis.

The Wanted singer – who revealed last year that he had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour – said it had been a “year of total madness”.

“1 year ago today I had my first ever seizure which ultimately led to the discovery of a stage 4 brain tumour,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of him smiling at wife Kelsey as she sat on his lap.

“Scariest time of our lives but we’re here a year down the line.

“I couldn’t love you any more.”

Kelsey shared a similar snap, writing: “A year ago today our life changed forever.

"Through everything we will always have each other.

"Me and you against the world.”

Tom shared in October 2020 that he had been diagnosed with “inoperable” stage-four glioblastoma while Kelsey was pregnant with their second child.

Earlier this month he revealed he was celebrating after a scan on his 33rd birthday showed a “slight reduction” in the tumour.

The star told fans that after a couple of days of “dread and worry” he had some good news and was feeling very grateful.
