Theresa May could have accidentally been the cause of a few runners losing the annual Good Friday race held in her constituency, by distracting some racers who wanted a selfie with the Prime Minister.

Dressed in a fluorescent bib, the Prime Minister grinned as she did her duty as a marshal for the 10-mile race in Maidenhead.

Ditching her usual fashionable attire, the Prime Minister wore a warm hoodie and a bright yellow bib.

She also managed to stop for a chat with some of the runners before the race.

Mrs May was seen stifling a laugh as a man dressed in a large costume ran past her.

According to locals, the now-Prime Minister marshals the Easter 10 most years.

She has not given up her role since taking on the most important job in the country - so it looks like her constituents will receive her marshaling services for years to come.
