Theydon Bois crash leaves motorcyclist seriously injured and road closed

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured following a serious crash in Essex today (Friday, November 15). Police remain at the scene in Coppice Row, Theydon Bois.

The crash involved the motorbike and two cars. The motorcycle's rider has been taken to hospital.

A road closure remains in place on the road near the junction with Piercing Hill. Essex Police has said it is expected to remain shut to traffic for some time.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: "We thank the public for their patience while enquiries continue at the scene. Detectives are appealing for anyone with information who hasn’t already come forward to get in touch with us.
