Ash billowed from the Cumbre Vieja volcano on the Spanish island of La Palma on October 4, 16 days after its initial eruption.
The Canary Islands volcano first erupted on September 19 after a series of tremors.
Since then, at least 413 hectares of land least 413 hectares of land and over 1,000 buildings had been affected by the volcano’s eruption and lava flows, according to La Palma council.
