Thieves steal safe and cash during raid on Perth house

A safe has been stolen from a Perth house as well as a three-figure sum of cash.

The theft took place at a Tulliburn Place address on Saturday November 16 between 6.45pm and 7pm.

Police Scotland said entry was gained to the property and a safe and its contents, including a three-figure sum of cash were taken.

The suspects are described as two males both aged 18 – 25 years old, both wearing balaclavas, one wearing a dark top beneath a light coloured gillet and dark trousers and the other wearing a red jacket and dark trousers.

Detective constable Craig McLeod said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious around the area at this time to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
