Undeniably, you might have observed a growing trend of people adorning their homes with Christmas decorations earlier each year. Some even start hanging tinsel and setting up their Christmas tree before they've had the chance to pack away their Halloween decor.

Or maybe you fall somewhere in between, choosing to decorate in November?

According to recent research by Next, 25 percent of us start decorating in November. However, the beginning of December remains the most favoured time to dress up the Christmas tree, with 41 percent of respondents preferring this period.

Those who start in October argue that it enhances the anticipation leading up to the festive season, spreading joy throughout the last few months of the year. And let's face it, most Christmas adverts do start airing in the first week of November.

They also believe that the twinkling lights brighten up their homes and help spread cheer during the long, cold, and dark winter months.

On the other hand, some firmly hold the view that December is the perfect time to get into the Christmas spirit, while others leave it until the very last minute on Christmas Eve!
