This adorable dog can’t stop giving hugs to complete strangers

A dog owner has revealed how his pet never gets very far whenever they go walkies as the adorable pooch can’t stop HUGGING people.

Golden retriever Louboutina – Loubie for short – loves nothing more than wrapping her legs around complete strangers when walking the streets of Manhattan, New York.

Her owner, Cesar Fernandez-Chavez, revealed that he never taught Loubie to hug people but she started wanting to hold hands around just after he ended a long-term relationship around Valentine’s Day in 2014.

He told The Dodo: “She started sitting up and grabbing my hands with both of her paws, and then crossing the other paw over her paw.

“I remember joking with my friends, ‘At least I have someone to hold hands with during Valentine’s.'”

This hand holding developed into full-blown hugging two years later and now Loubie has her very own Instagram page with over 62,000 followers.

Cesar added: “Instead of asking me to do the holding hands thing, she just sat up, very close to my legs, and she’d wrap her legs around my knees.

”I thought, ‘This is weird. What’s going on?’ But I let her do it.”

Now the hugging has become a regular feature of their walks, with Loubie walking up to strangers to offer a big doggie cuddle.

Cesar joked: “It’s just not a regular walk. It’s a walk with hugging. So we don’t get to go too far.”

With a pet like Loubie, we’re sure he doesn’t mind.
