The mesmerizing moment thousands of starlings moving over the sunset was caught on camera by Marco Campazas, 39, while he was driving through Logrono City, northern Spain, on Christmas day. The admin worker, who is a keen amateur photographer, pulled over when he spotted the flock of birds in the sky and captured the last seconds of their incredible display - twisting and merging together ''like a lava lamp''. He said: ''I was driving my car and through the window noticed the birds. ''I stopped straight away and filmed them. It was quite lucky to see them like this. It was just during sunset just before their bedtime. ''I managed to capture the end of their display before they all landed and went to sleep for the evening. It's a beautiful scene and not one that you see every day.''
