There is no evidence to support that wearing a face mask will protect you from COVID-19. You should still avoid touching your face, washing your hands frequently for 20 seconds using warm water and soap and practice social distancing.

With the new school year just days away, the search and demand for children’s face masks continue to rise. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), all schools reopening should help prevent the spread of COVID-19 by providing face masks to students, teachers, staff, or visitors who do not have them readily available.

The CDC’s list of recommendations also includes ensuring that students and staff are aware of the correct use of cloth face coverings, including properly wearing a mask over both the nose and mouth and securing the covering around the face.

Although there are plenty of face masks on the market, finding the right face masks to fit your little one can be tricky.
