Thomas Markle may fly to the UK to see Meghan after two months of no contact
Meghan Markle’s father is considering flying to the UK to make amends with his daughter.
Thomas Markle, 73, is worried his daughter, who recently married Prince Harry in a lavish ceremony, will freeze him out following the paparazzi photo scandal ahead of the nuptials.
After almost two months without contact with the former Suits actress, Thomas says he is prepared to fly from Mexico to London to build bridges with Meghan and her new husband, 33.
“I want to see my daughter. I’m thinking about it. I don’t care whether she is pissed off at me or not.”
He told the Sun: “I’m not going to wave flags and make a fool of myself. I’d find a hotel room and try to reach them.”
Thomas says he desperately loves his daughter, and while he admits he’s at fault, he is prepared to fly to the UK without royal appointment if the wall of silence from Kensington Palace continues.
Meghan Markle wed Prince Harry on May 19 at Windsor Castle.
Among Meghan’s guests were her mother Doria Ragland, tennis champion Serena Williams, Oprah Winfrey and stars of Suits.
Thomas did not attend the high-profile ceremony following a tabloid set up exposè and a period of ill health.
