Thomasville woman killed in wreck

Mar. 7—THOAMASVIlLE — A Thomasville woman was killed in an automobile accident Wednesday.

Around 1:24 a.m., troopers investigated a single-vehicle crash on Ga. Highway 122 west of Ozell Road in Thomas County, a Georgia State Patrol statement said.

A car was heading east on Ga. 122 when the driver lost control and struck a tree, the statement said.

Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home identified the wreck victim as Jada Lynn Hurst, 19, of Thomasville. She worked as a waitress at The Scoop Deli, which her family owns, and was a member of Rose City Church of God, her obituary said.

Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday. She will be laid to rest at Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
