Thousands Affected by Fire in Sierra Leone Capital, Officials Warn

Officials in Freetown, Sierra Leone, confirmed that areas of the city were gutted by a fire on the evening of March 24.

Freetown City Council said the extent of the damage to the area of Susan’s Bay was unknown but that “thousands are likely to have been affected”.
