Thousands Attend Anti-Military Protests in Yangon Despite Warnings

Thousands of people took part in anti-military protests in Yangon, Myanmar, on February 22, despite warnings and violence over the weekend in which two people were killed.

Military officials issued a statement warning that protests could lead to "the loss of life,” Frontier Myanmar said. Protests in the city ended peacefully on Monday evening, according to its report.
