Thousands of Kill The Bill protestors took to the streets of central London on Saturday to oppose the UK government's proposed new policing law. Opponents say that the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill will sharply curtail the right to protest. It will also give the police new surveillance and stop-and-search powers.
