Thousands of pounds of jewellery stolen from Devon town

Thousands of pounds worth of jewellery has been stolen from a home in Devon. Police officers are investigating the North Tawton theft, which included rings, necklaces, bangles and earrings.

Devon and Cornwall Police were called to a home in Bouchiers Close on Saturday, November 16, when the residents returned home from a night out to find a collection of jewellery had been stolen. The items are together estimated to be worth thousands of pounds.

It is believed the suspect, or suspects, entered the property between 6.50pm and 9.05pm on Saturday evening. Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for information from any witnesses who were in the area at the time.
