Thousands of Pro-Democracy Protesters Gather at Bank HQ in Bangkok

Thousands of pro-democracy protesters gathered on the streets of Bangkok, Thailand, on November 25, as they repeated calls for the resignation of the prime minister and constitutional reform, The Bangkok Post reported.

This footage shows the protesters gathered outside the headquarters of the Siam Commercial Bank.

The Bangkok Post cited the protest organizers as saying they gathered at the bank to demand “assets that should belong to the people and the nation”.

Thailand’s Crown Property Bureau is the bank’s biggest shareholder, the Bangkok Post said, and protesters were gathering there as the wealth of the monarchy became a focus for them. Credit: @LALIDFAH via Storyful
