Three car crash on A27 - emergency services issue statement on injuries
Emergency services have responded after a main road was partially blocked due to a three car crash this morning.
The crash happened just before 8am on the A27 eastbound near Hollingbury, Brighton.
Sussex Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) were at the scene.
A spokesman for SECAmb said: "A person was assessed but did not require further hospital treatment."
A lane was closed and queues stretched back to the A23 and roundabout at London Road.
Traffic has now returned to normal.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called to reports of a three-vehicle collision on the eastbound A27 at Hollingbury shortly before 8am on Monday, February 6.
"A lane closure was in place to allow emergency services to respond to the collision."
