Several players could leave Liverpool before the transfer window closes on Friday night - with Ben Doak, Kaide Gordon and Nat Phillips all attracting interest.

In recent weeks, sporting director Richard Hughes has negotiated some savvy departures from the club as deals for Fabio Carvalho, Bobby Clark and Sepp van den Berg added more than £50m to the club's coffers.

Carvalho and Van den Berg swapped Anfield for West London as they signed for Brentford, while Clark sealed a reunion with former Reds coach Pep Lijnders as he joined Austrian Bundesliga side Red Bull Salzburg in a £10m deal.

But the trio's departures may not be the last that Hughes sanctions before the transfer window closes at 11pm on Friday, with Doak and Gordon attracting interest from clubs in England.

Eighteen-year-old Doak has not played a competitive game for Liverpool since featuring in the Europa League defeat to Union Saint-Gilloise in December due to sustaining a knee injury later in the month that required surgery and, as a result, ruled him out of Euro 2024.

Earlier this summer, Doak, called up to the Scotland squad on Thursday, was the subject of interest from Premier League duo Southampton and Leicester City. More recently, though, the forward has been linked with a season-long loan move to Championship clubs Hull City and Middlesbrough.

On Friday afternoon, Sky Sports reported that Doak and Liverpool would evaluate offers from the two Championship clubs to decide which move would best serve his development.

Gordon, meanwhile, had been touted with a move to Championship Swansea City and could seal a temporary switch away from the club before the Friday night deadline. Midfielder James Balagizi, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Kilmarnock, Wigan Athletic and Crawley Town, could also be loaned out.

Likewise, Stefan Bajcetic is also close to sealing a temporary exit away from the club as he nears a season-long loan move to Red Bull Salzburg. His departure is likely to see Tyler Morton stay put on Merseyside after the Reds rejected a loan offer from Bayer Leverkusen earlier this week.

Meanwhile for Nat Phillips, an exit from Anfield could still be possible beyond Friday's deadline. After entering the final 12 months of his deal in July, the defender was the subject of a £4m bid from Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor.

Unlike England, clubs in Turkey have until September 13th to finalise transfers and, therefore, if the defender is unable to seal a move away from the Reds on Friday - temporary or permanent - he could be handed an alternative exit route at the beginning of next month if Trabzonspor were to revive their interest.

Championship outfit Derby County have been reported as a potential destination for Phillips.
