Three in hospital after Wrexham flats fire

Three people were treated in hospital after a fire in Wrexham last night. Crews were called to flats in the city but no-one was seriously hurt.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said it was alerted to the incident at a flat at Cefn Road at 6.29pm. Two crews from the local Wrexham Fire Station went to the scene.

A spokesman said three people got out safely. They were taken to hospital as a precaution.

The cause of the blaze has not yet been released. The firefighters brought the incident under control by 7.43pm.
