Three men arrested after gun fired from car on Blackpool Promenade
A firearm was discharged inside a car along Blackpool's Promenade.
At 9.46pm yesterday (Friday, September 20), Lancashire Police were called to Shaw Road to a report of a firearms incident. Officers attended and found a firearm, believed to be a BB gun, had been discharged from inside an Audi A3.
This was in the direction of a Mercedes on the Promenade, causing damage to the car. A short time later, there was a second discharge from inside the Audi, which again caused damage to the Mercedes.

Three men aged 21 and two aged 22 have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent and are currently in custody.
No one was injured and officers do not believe there is any wider threat to the public. Police investigating the incident want to speak to anyone who witnessed the firearm being discharged or may have dash cam or CCTV footage from the time it happened.
