Three Sisters Working as New York Hospital Nurses Receive Second Doses of COVID-19 Vaccine

Three sisters who work as nurses at a hospital in Bronxville, New York, received their second doses of COVID-19 vaccinations on Friday, January 8.

Footage shared by the NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital shows the shots being administered to Althea Scott-Bonaparte and Claudia Scott-Mighty, who are Patient Care Directors at the hospital, as well as Christine Scott, who is an ICU nurse.

“We’re in this together, we’re fighting this together, and we’re getting vaccinated together," said Scott-Bonaparte. “This is how we’ve always done everything as sisters… together.”
