Three vehicle crash in notorious Waltham Abbey shut road for hours and left driver seriously injured
A driver has been left seriously injured after a major crash in an Essex town which left the road shut for hours. Police are appealing for witnesses following the three-vehicle crash in Crooked Mile, Waltham Abbey on Sunday (January 19).
The incident took place at 9.25pm and three cars were involved in the crash, leaving one driver with serious injuries. The road was closed for several hours overnight while emergency services made the road safe.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We have launched an investigation, and we want to hear from anyone who may have information about this incident.
