Three women banned from North Yorkshire after bizarre shop theft
Three women have been banned from North Yorkshire after stealing large amounts of shampoo and washing detergent.
Police were called to the unusual theft in York, after an eagle-eyed member of the public spotted three women acting suspiciously at the Monks Cross Shopping Park at around 4.30pm on Monday, January 28. Officers responded immediately, and quickly spotted a red Audi parked in the car park where they quickly linked it to three women seen nearby.
After working with security staff, and City of York Council CCTV operators, officers were able to promptly locate the three women.
