Thunderstorm Brings Flooding to Cedar City

A thunderstorm brought heavy rain and flooding to Cedar City, Utah, early on Wednesday, August 18, according to local reports.

The National Weather Service said “heavy showers and thunderstorms” were still affecting Cedar City late on Wednesday and issued a flash flood warning until 1am on Thursday.

Local reports said dozens of houses around Kanarraville and Cedar City Regional Airport were flooded due to heavy rain.
