Thunderstorms Bring Lightning and Heavy Rain to Houston, Texas

Thunderstorms brought heavy rain and lightning to the Houston area late Thursday night, August 26, and into Friday morning, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

This footage was captured by Houston storm chaser Jaime Garcia, who said it shows lightning crawling across the sky just after midnight on Friday morning.
