Accrington residents can travel back in time and explore the greatest eras of soul in music history.

The History of Soul event will feature some of the most iconic artists of the popular music genre including Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles and The Temptations and many more.

Held at Civic Arts Centre and Theatre on Union Road, the event will start at 7.30pm on Friday, January 27 and tickets are £22.50 and available to buy online.
