Tiernan Lynch links come as no surprise to Gary Haveron who hopes Larne can hold on to him
Gary Haveron said he is "not surprised" Tiernan Lynch is being linked with vacant managerial jobs at two Scottish Premiership sides.
Lynch, who as led Larne to back-to-back Irish Premiership titles and the group stages of this season's UEFA Conference League, is said to be attracting interest at both St Johnstone and Hearts, who are both on the hunt for a new manager.
Hearts parted company with boss Steven Naismith at the weekend while Craig Levein was relieved of his duties at McDiarmid Park last week with former Northern Ireland strike Andy Kirk taking over on an interim basis.

Belfast Live understands St Johnstone have made their interest in Lynch known but it's unclear at present if the 44-year-old would be tempted by a switch to the Scottish Premiership if a formal offer is made. Aberdeen coach Peter Leven and Scott Brown, whose Ayr United side are top of the Championship are also frontrunners for the post.
Lynch's stock has continued to rise during his seven years at Inver Park. He will create more history next week as Larne take on Molde in their first UEFA Conference League group game and his first team coach Haveron is not surprised clubs are taking notice of him.
“I’m not surprised and I genuinely feel there should be more interest after what he has done with the football club,” said Haveron after Larne's 2-0 win over Loughgall on Tuesday night. "He’s geared for full-time football, we would not want to lose him, far from it, he’s been exceptional.
“He is by far the best manager I have worked with. He’s relentless in trying to improve himself and to drag the club forward. The only surprise is he has not had more solid offers because he is superb.”
Lynch's link with a move to Scotland comes only a month after David Healy was heavily linked with a move to Raith Rovers. Haveron said managers being link with jobs across the water is just rewards for their hard work and success
"Oran (Kearney) did a great job at St Mirren, keeping them in the league," he said. "If your managers are given an opportunity, they can be successful and they are familiar with what it takes to run a full-time club.

"The manager's workload is relentless and I can see that, I see the work he does every day. He's fantastic, the link makes sense and it bodes well for this country with all its talented players and managers."
