Yahoo News Tiffany Brooks Will Star in New HGTV Series "$50K Three Ways"
If you haven't heard of interior designer Tiffany Brooks, it's time to get her on your radar. The Chicago-based designer was crowned the winner of HGTV's Design Star (yes, the OG Design Star series!) back in 2013 and has continued to make guest appearances on the network’s shows like Rock the Block and Design at Your Door. Last year, she was the host and designer of HGTV's Smart Home 2020, which she spilled the deets about here. If you've been following her work all along, then you’re going to love this next bit of news—and if you haven't, you're about to be a new fan.
Starting next month, Brooks will host an all-new series on HGTV and discovery+ titled $50K Three Ways. In each episode, she'll present clients with three extremely different design plans that fall within their budgets and could potentially work for their spaces. Then, she'll help them choose the standout style that best reflects their personal story and current needs. In other words, Brooks will show homeowners just exactly what their budget (which doesn't have necessarily have to be $50,000 as the show's title suggest) can look like in a trio of different ways. However, manifesting all these unique and contrasting designs won't be easy. Stay tuned for structural surprises, permit delays, indecisive clients, and unexpected roadblocks along the way.
"Everyone has a million things in their house they’d like to change, but few people have the budget to fix it all at once, and that’s why they call me," Brooks said in a statement about her new show. "You may not be able to redesign your home from top to bottom, but we can create something amazing by spending money in all the right places."
Already we know that in the premiere episode, a couple will call in Brooks to help them decide which part of their home needs a facelift STAT. Luckily for them, she'll arrive with a trio of enticing options to upgrade their digs in the best way possible. $50K Three Ways will premiere on Monday, April 26 on HGTV at 8 p.m. ET/PT. It will also be available to stream all day on discovery+.
