Tiger Predicts Winner for College Football Playoff Championship Game

With the College Football Championship playoff on January 13 coming down to two teams named the tigers, only one animal at Chicago’s Brookfield Zoo could be trusted to pick the winner.

‘Whirl’ the tiger was presented with two ice treats in the colours of the two teams and, within seconds, the Amur tiger beelined straight for the treat bearing Louisiana State University (LSU) colours.

LSU will take on Clemson for the College Football Playoff National Championship in New Orleans on the Monday night. Both teams went undefeated in the regular season, winning all 14 games. Credit: Brookfield Zoo via Storyful
