It’s not the latest of the BMW models; and yes, it’s been around for a while (in fact, Tiger has owned it since 2017) but it’s the car that Tiger Shroff clearly cannot get enough of. The Baaghi star is known to be shy and generally likes to stay under the radar and keep to himself. And, for the longest time, he simply leaned in the SS Jaguar 100 that his dad Jackie Shroff owns. Sure the Jag remains the only one of its kind in the country but a boy’s gotta have his own set of wheels, right?

And so when he went out to cash in the chips and get himself a beast from his own money, Tiger Shroff chose something far less unique than his dad and turned to the trusty German carmaker. The Jag may have been unique and flashy, but if there’s something you should know about Tiger, it’s that he’d likely vote for reliability over showmanship. Of course this doesn’t mean the SS Jag is unreliable but, surely, even you’d agree there’s something reassuring about owning a German automobile.

That’s how, we imagine, Tiger Shroff picked out the BMW 5 Series from what must’ve been a vast line-up of cars. The 5 Series has been Tiger’s vehicle of choice wherever he goes. In fact, when he arrived at Manish Malhotra’s 50th birthday bash with Disha Patani in 2018, it was in this car. Their arrival together was what sparked rumours of the two being an item.

Tiger Shroff’s BMW 5 Series comes with a three-litre, six-cylinder diesel engine that can produce 265 bhp while the top-spec 530i six-cylinder petrol puts out a solid 252 bhp of power. BMW 5 Series sheds 70 kg from its predecessor and is equipped with remote control parking. And yes that’s exactly what you think it is. You can indeed park your Bay Em Way using the car’s handy keyfob.

The 5’s gesture control is integrated into the car’s multimedia system as is the wireless charging. What this means is that you can do pretty much everything – change the rear view camera angle, make or receive calls etc, all with simple wave gestures. Like all BMWs, the Series 5 has Cornering Brake Control, Dynamic Traction Control and Hill Descent Control along with ABS. At the moment, the BMW Series five will set you back by a little over half a crore. But you’ll also let everyone know you’ve arrived.

Even though he may be cooling off his heels in self-isolation, make no mistake that Tiger Shroff has certainly arrived. He’s had a spectacular 2019 with Student of the Year 3 and War in which he starred alongside Hrithik Roshan. Baaghi 3 released just before coronavirus shut down everything in the country and the world but we imagine, Tiger’s been itching to get back to work as on Rambo and Heropanti 2, if nothing, to earn himself an upgrade.
