Fans of the Starbucks iced lemon loaf, get ready to celebrate.
According to TikTok, there’s an easy way to “recreate” the chain’s iconic treat — all for less than half the price.
The fast food hack, shared by user Tracey Nicole (@itracynicole), follows a longstanding trend on the app, where users have shared cheaper, store-bought versions of iconic fast food items. In the past, TikTokers have claimed you can recreate Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets at Costco, make your own Taco Bell Baja Blast at home and even cook up McDonald’s McGriddles with one simple trick.
Nicole’s trick comes from Walmart, of all places. In her clip, the user claims to have discovered a treat that tastes “just like” the Starbucks iced lemon loaf.
“I purchased this from Walmart for $1,” Nicole captioned her video. “I swear this is the Starbucks, iced lemon cake.”
Of course, the cake in Nicole’s video isn’t actually the same kind sold at Walmart. In fact, Starbucks even told The Daily Dot in a statement that the two products are different.
Still, many TikTokers seemed excited by chance to even find something that resembles the beloved Starbucks snack.

“It tastes the same to me,” one user wrote.
“These are so good,” another added.
“I think it actually tastes better than the Starbucks one!” another user commented.
“As a past Starbucks employee, that looks JUST like it,” another wrote.
For all the budget-minded Starbucks fans out there, the cake in Nicole’s video appears to be the Marketside Kosher Iced Lemon Individually Wrapped Cake. According to the Walmart website, the item is available for just $1. Meanwhile, the Starbucks iced lemon loaf costs somewhere in the $2.45 range, according to menuandprice.org.
