Time-Lapse Footage Shows Daunting Storm Clouds Forming Across the Sky in Arkansas

The U.S. state of Arkansas was lashed with storms on April 12, leaving thousands of people without power.

Mike Hall filmed a video which shows a shelf cloud moving closer to his backyard, with several flashes of lightning seen at the back of the cloud.

Hall wrote in the caption of the video that he posted on YouTube that the shelf cloud was “knocking out power and blowing down several trees”.

A local news outlet reported on April 13 that the storm caused more than 129,000 power outages in Arkansas.
